2019 Llamas Family Cabernet Sauvignon Stagecoach Vineyard
This is 100% Cabernet Sauvignon from Pritchard Hill Block I2B within the iconic Stagecoach Vineyard. After four years and three months of barrel aging the wine is extracted with great color, structure and fine, dense tannins. Aromas of dark plumb, cola and black cherry are accented by graphite, vanilla and baking spice. On the palate the wine is heavy and firm with a level of brightness that balances out this young Cabernet. A rich mid palate showcases flavors of leather and tobacco accented by blackberry, licorice and cherry cola. Reminiscent of the 2016 Stagecoach Vineyard Cabernet Sauvignon, we expect this wine to cellar for the next 20+ years.
